  •     The 8th International Workshop on Swarm 
    Intelligent Systems (IWSIS 2018) & 6th 
    International Workshop on Mobile and 
    Wireless Computing (IWMWC 2018) 
    will be held in Wuhan, China. The objective
    of IWSIS & IWMWC 2018 is to provide a 
    forum for researchers, educators, and engineers
    involved in the general areas of Swarm 
    Intelligent Systems to disseminate their latest
    research results and exchange views on the 
    future research directions of these fields. 
    IWSIS & IWMWC 2018 plans to publish 
    about 80 papers to several EI-indexed journals 
    including International Journal of Computing 
    Science and Mathematics, International Journal of Wireless and Mobile Computing, et al.

  • Conference overview

  •     This workshop aims to exhibit international 
    researches on swarm intelligent systems and 
    mobile and wireless computing fields, and to 
    explore future directions. Relevant topics include,
    but are not limited to, the following:
    1. Modelling of collective biological systems such as social 
    insect colonies, flocking vertebrates, and human crowds  as 
    well as any other swarm intelligence systems.
    2. Swarm-based optimization for complex constrained 
    optimization problems.
    3. Swarm-based optimization for multi-objective 
    optimization problems.
    4. Swarm-based optimization for dynamic environment 
    optimization.
    5. Hybrid Swarm-based optimization technique.
    6. Learning and search strategies in swarm-based. 
    optimization.
    7. Applications of swarm-based optimization. 
    methodology, such as graph partitioning, data clustering, etc.
    8. Intelligent data mining.
    9. Intelligent control and automation.

    for publication anywhere else.
